My short story.
Since penning a song about my Siamese cat, Apple in the fourth grade* and writing a letter to the editor of my hometown newspaper in high school**, I’ve always loved writing in all its forms.
I grew up in Boulder, Colorado. I’ve taught English in Japan and served beer from a golf cart on a historic course in Austin, Texas. I now live in Denver, Colorado.
Writing, traveling internationally, and spending time with my friends and family make my world go round.
A Few of My Writing Happy Places:
Launching The Periop Life blog for the Association of PeriOperative Registered Nurses (AORN), which focuses on the people, ideas, and resources that inspire perioperative work life and beyond.
Publishing a children’s book about rocks that look like animals.
Writing scripts for Warren Miller Entertainment about skiing and snowboarding in foreign lands.
Writing copy for a sports museum exhibit on Boulder’s state championship teams.
Creating a Story Map that highlights the Colorado Historical Foundation’s conservation easement properties, which received the Norwich University Graduate History Program Outstanding Internship Project Award 2022.
It makes me equally happy to help organizations better connect with their audiences via:
Blogs
eBooks
White papers
Newsletters

*Apple Loves Me
Apple loves me, Apple loves me
Might be because of my brown hair
Apple loves me, Apple loves me
Might be because of my green eyes
Apple loves me, Apple loves me
Might be because of my freckles
All I know is … Apple loves me, Apple loves me
Me telling Apple the first of many stories.
**Me speaking out in the local press as only a 17-year-old could.
